I created a marketing communication plans-book and advertising campaign presentation for GAP along with my teammates as part of an advertising course that I took while pursuing my Master’s in Marketing program. 

 

An analysis was first conducted on the history of the company and how its marketing communication has been over the years. After this, a new ad campaign idea was brainstormed that would benefit the GAP brand the most. Primary data on consumers’ perceptions were collected using a Qualtrics survey, we then also used secondary data sources such as Mintel and Euromonitor to obtain information about brand performance and consumers’ preferences.

 

While finally presenting our campaign idea, our team posed as an ad agency giving a pitch to the company’s employees (our colleagues) who gave us critical feedback. This project allowed me to get a taste of advertising agency work and was a great experience.
