Kellogg's
Marketing Ethics Audit
January - March 2020
Kellogg's

One of the core classes as a part of my Masters in Marketing program was marketing ethics. An important part of any business function, it was interesting to learn about the principles and rules there are to ensure that marketing functions occur in an ethical and moral way. There were multiple case studies that I had to analyze and answer to. It was thought-provoking to read and learn from my peers’ responses as well.
For this course, I was required to conduct a marketing ethics audit of any company. I chose to study Kellogg’s because it is one of the most highly ranked companies in terms of ethical practices and has consistently won awards for the same. Reading about this really intrigued me about the culture, values, and practices of the Kellogg’s which is why I wanted to conduct a deeper analysis of the ethical policies of the company. It was interesting to learn about the policies and frameworks that companies have in place to ensure a fair working environment.
